Fair Use Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
The short version
- Paid “unlimited” access has no calculation-credit charge for ordinary human use.
- Built-in teammate sharing and Party collaboration are allowed.
- Do not automate, scrape, resell, overload, or bypass access controls.
- Protective request and daily-success limits apply to every customer account.
- Restrictions require a recorded reason and can be appealed through private support.
1. Scope and meaning of “fair use”
This policy explains acceptable use of Elite Drops and forms part of the Terms of Service. In this policy, “fair use” means reasonable use of the service and its computing resources. It does not decide whether any use of copyrighted material qualifies as legal fair use or grant rights in Fortnite, Epic Games content, or anyone else's work.
“Unlimited” means paid access does not consume calculation credits during the product's stated access period or, for Single Location, while that logical location remains supported. The protective limits below still apply. Free Proof remains limited to three successful calculations.
2. Allowed use
You may:
- manually plan routes for your own gameplay, practice, scrims, tournaments, and ordinary team preparation;
- run normal calculations, adjust inputs, compare targets, and retry interrupted requests;
- use the built-in persistent teammate benefit and Party Room collaboration as described below;
- save, discuss, or share your own route results for gameplay and coaching; and
- use accessibility technology, password managers, and ordinary browser features that do not automate calculations or evade controls.
3. Prohibited use
You must not:
- use bots, scripts, scraping, headless browsers, macros, browser automation, or undocumented bulk API access to submit or collect calculations;
- resell calculations, sublicense access, operate a calculation service, or make Elite Drops output available as a competing data feed;
- share credentials, transfer an account, or share paid access outside the built-in teammate and Party features;
- circumvent Free Proof, identity and account-age checks, payment or entitlement checks, App Check, country controls, request limits, or daily limits;
- probe, disrupt, overload, introduce malware into, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or another user's account;
- extract protected catalog data or reverse engineer the service except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits; or
- use Elite Drops to facilitate cheating, fraud, harassment, infringement, or a violation of law, tournament rules, or Epic Games rules applicable to you.
4. Current technical limits
- Request protection: 20 solve requests per 10-minute enforcement window.
- Per account: 150 successful calculations per UTC day.
- Shared paid entitlement: 250 successful calculations per UTC day, combined across the owner and configured teammate using that entitlement.
These are service-protection limits, not extra calculation charges. When a limit is reached, new calculations are temporarily refused and become available again after the applicable window resets. A normal request that reaches a limit does not by itself cause a suspension or ban.
5. How calculations and retries are counted
- A successful, finalized result counts toward the applicable daily-success limit.
- Failed, cancelled, timed-out, rejected, or server-error attempts do not consume Free Proof and do not count as successful daily calculations.
- Every submitted solve request can count toward the short request-protection limit, including an attempt that later fails.
- An identical idempotent retry within 15 minutes returns the recorded successful result without consuming another Free Proof use.
6. Teammate sharing and Party Rooms
Eligible paid access includes one configured persistent teammate seat for one selected location. Use by that teammate is allowed, but the seat may not be sold, rented, rotated to create a shared account pool, or re-shared. Teammate reassignment is subject to the waiting period shown in the Account page and Terms.
Party Rooms may be used for real-time planning with invited participants. Joining a Party does not transfer product ownership or grant permanent paid access, and Party codes or invitation links must not be published as a way to provide a public calculation service.
7. Abuse signals and privacy
Elite Drops uses bounded server-side request counts, account and entitlement usage, keyed identity and installation signals, App Check, payment events, rate limits, and security logs to protect the service. IP-derived signals are stored as keyed hashes rather than raw IP addresses. VPN, proxy, shared network, device, alternate-account, App Check, payment, and rate-limit signals are review evidence only. None automatically suspends or bans an account, and a shared network or VPN is never sufficient by itself.
Signals require context and human review before a separate account suspension or ban is imposed. Data used for these controls is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.
8. Enforcement
Operational controls may throttle a request. Separately, after human review, an administrator may suspend an account for 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, or ban it indefinitely, when reasonably necessary to protect users, payments, and the service or address a material or repeated violation. Every action requires an allowlisted reason, evidence note, explicit confirmation, and auditable case record.
An account restriction records a reason, case ID, start time, and, for a temporary suspension, an expiry time. A restriction may remove the user from active Party Rooms and hold checkout while it remains active. A ban is reserved for serious or repeated conduct; reaching an ordinary calculation limit is not enough. Valid purchases are restored when a restriction is lifted unless a separate refund, payment dispute, or entitlement expiry applies.
During either state, calculations, paid locations, purchases, Party Rooms, requests, teammate sharing, and administrative actions are unavailable. Public demo, legal and support pages, receipts, account export, deletion, and Discord appeal instructions remain available.
9. Appeals
You may appeal a Free Proof review, suspension, or ban through Elite Drops Support. Open a private Discord ticket and include your Discord ID, the case ID shown on your Account page if one exists, and a concise explanation or relevant evidence. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, full card details, or teammate invite links.
Discord is the only appeal channel. Elite Drops does not provide an internal appeal form or email fallback if Discord is unavailable or you cannot join the server.
We review the recorded reason and evidence, relevant usage and payment history, and the information supplied in the ticket. If the restriction is unsupported or no longer necessary, it can be lifted and the resolution is recorded. Support decisions do not remove non-waivable rights available to you under applicable law.
10. Contact and policy changes
Questions and requests for an approved integration may be submitted through Elite Drops Support. We may update protective limits or this policy when service capacity, security risks, or product features change. Material changes will be published with a new date and apply prospectively; they do not convert ordinary past use into a violation.
